NeuroArt Therapy at HealWell Mind
At HealWell Mind in Rockville, Maryland, we believe that healing is both a science and an art. NeuroArt Therapy combines the creative process of art-making with the precision of neuroscience to help individuals express, process, and regulate emotions in new and deeply meaningful ways.
NeuroArt Therapy is more than traditional art therapy’s a brain-based, experiential approach that integrates artistic expression, mindfulness, and neurofeedback to support emotional healing, cognitive flexibility, and neural balance.
What Is NeuroArt Therapy?
NeuroArt Therapy is a holistic method that activates both hemispheres of the brain, engaging creativity, emotion, and logic simultaneously. Through guided art activities, clients access subconscious thoughts, regulate emotions, and strengthen neural pathways that support calm and focus.
Our clinicians use QEEG brain mapping and neuropsychological assessment to identify how each individual’s brain processes emotion and attention.
Art-based interventions are then customized to complement Neurofeedback Training (NFT), creating a powerful synergy between creative self-expression and brain regulation.
